Phenotype Meritum



Analysis of phenotype, physiognomy and constitution in Meritum-types.

Meritum-types tend to be physically strong, albeit somewhat short and chubby or long and slim in physique. They often look mature with typical traits of a responsible "parent" but with more refinement and cleanliness in appearance than Corpus and Exitium-types. They are usually also more positive with more "upward spirit" than the two latter Morem-types who are usually more focused on the here and now. The physical disposition, self-confidence and lack of doubt in Meritum-types – with the aim of giving expressing to certain already established external norms in the culture – make their brains relax and their faces often light up without being as hectic and frivolous as Urbanum-types can be. Meritum-types are more common among women than among men and they often give a "mom-ish" impression with condescending tones as if they are communicating with children. (Many politicians, liberal feminists, columnists, and people in high or influential positions in society are Meritum.)

Notes on the examples
It is usually not difficult to find examples of female Meritum-individuals, but finding examples of men can be more difficult.

The examples among Meritum-actresses (or comedians like Chris Barrie) usually have Libidinem secondary in the configuration and can be easily confused with Libidinem-women, such as Lucy Lawless and a young Fionnula Flanagan. The greater desensitization of political leaders such as Jair Bolsonaro also indicates Libidinem and makes them resemble Exitium.

The most obvious example where Urbanum is secondary is probably Eleanor Roosevelt since she often smiles and newspapers had a hard time keeping up with her activity. Another is Swedish politician Carl Bildt who also likely has Fiduciam co-secondary in his configuration.

Philosophers such as Bertrand Russell and Ludwig Wittgenstein probably have Misericordia secondary, which may contribute to greater intellectual seeking along a more complex and sensitive misericordemic psychology relative to other Meritum-individuals. But even when Meritum-types belong to the intelligentsia, they tend to give ideas that already exist in the environment a voice more than figuring out and presenting their own new formulations or systems.

Analysis of the Meritum-type is usually not difficult to find in the already existing psychological literature. It was one of the first personality patterns that Sigmund Freud noted when he wrote his famous essay on anal character. In Alexander Lowen's bioenergetic analysis, the Meritum phenomenon is called the "Rigid" character structure.
